Contaminated Land Remediation Services

Experience and knowledge of the many facets of remediation allows our team of specialist professionals to deal with the most complex problems encountered on brownfield sites.

The geo-environmental engineers at Hazrem all play their part in bringing about the economical transformation of the most intractably contaminated land to functional sites that comply comfortably with contaminated land legislation. We work hard to ensure that liability is minimised for all parties involved.

Effective remediation of a contaminated site will rely on a single or combination of techniques that may include:

Civil engineering solutions – earth moving, installation of capping layers, sheet piling, bentonite walls

Chemical engineering solutions – soil vapour extraction (SVE), multiphase extraction (MPE), LNAPL skimming

Excavation and disposal

Solidification / stabilisation

Ecological contaminant treatments eg Japanese knotweed; - installation of root barrier membrane and in-situ treatment

Hazrem has extensive experience of implementing these remediation solutions and welcome the opportunity to provide a quotation on a fixed fee or rate based schedule
