News Article21/06/2007New Contaminated Land Regs for EnglandThe Contaminated Land (England) Regulations 2006 came into force on the 4th Aug 06. This piece of legislation consolidates the previous sets of Contaminated Land (England) Regulations and Amendment Regulations dated 2000 and 2001 respectively. The main change to this new piece of legislation is the inclusion of land contaminated by radioactive substances, and its designation as a Special Site.
